Privacy policy

Last updated: 8 October 2026

In short. We collect only what we need to work on your trip and reply to you. We don't need, and ask you not to send, passport details, ID documents, booking references or card details. We never sell your data. You can ask us to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing wayrelle@gmail.com.

1. Who we are

Wayrelle ("we", "us") is a small, independent, India-based travel-planning service. For the purposes of India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), we are the Data Fiduciary for the personal data you share with us. You can contact us about anything in this policy at wayrelle@gmail.com.

2. What we collect

Please share only what's needed to plan your trip. If you tell us about other people travelling with you (for example a child's age or a parent's mobility needs), please share only what's relevant and only with their knowledge. We do not knowingly accept requests from anyone under 18.

3. Why we use it

We use your data on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the form, and to provide the service you asked for. We don't use your data for advertising profiles and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.

4. AI tools

We use AI tools to check plans and prepare your fixes. Your trip details are processed by these tools as part of preparing your fixes. We don't include your email address or name in what we process this way where we can avoid it. The key facts in every set of fixes are double-checked against official sources by a second, automated AI pass before it's sent; fixes are not individually reviewed by a person. Answers during the 48-hour Q&A and On-Trip replies are also AI-written and sent by Wayrelle.

5. Who else handles your data

We use a small number of service providers to run Wayrelle. They process data on our behalf and only for these purposes:

6. How long we keep it

7. Your rights

Under the DPDP Act you can:

To do any of these, email wayrelle@gmail.com with the subject "Privacy request". We'll reply as soon as we can, and in any case within 30 days.

8. Security

We keep access to your data limited, use accounts with strong passwords and two-step verification, and don't ask for sensitive documents. No online service is completely secure. If we become aware of a breach affecting your data, we'll tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

9. Cookies

This site doesn't use advertising or tracking cookies. Campaign tags from the link you clicked are kept in your browser only for your current visit so they can be attached to your request. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address when the page loads.

10. Changes

If we change this policy we'll update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use data you've already given us, we'll tell you by email first.
